Affairs aren’t new to those who are exposed to the spotlight. While it isn’t a normal everyday occurrence, hearing about a man philandering about isn’t new to Hollywood. The Ed Henry affair is one of the newest affairs that has reached the spotlight and the media is zooming in on the whole story.
According to In Touch Weekly, Ed Henry, a Fox News Chief White House correspondent, was accused of cheating on his wife for the last 10 months with a Las Vegas hostess, Natalia Lima. He has been married to NPR deputy Washington Editor Shirley Hung since 2010.
Henry’s home network Fox News issued a statement regarding the Ed Henry affair and they said, “We recently became aware of Ed’s personal issues and he’s taking some time off to work things out.”
Due to this scandal the correspondent will reportedly be temporarily off the air at Fox News and there isn’t a date set for his return to work.
NY Daily News reported that the White house correspondent befriended his mistress through social media five years ago and turned their casual conversations into dirty talk and have been reportedly having sex since the spring of 2015. He’s been crisscrossing the country covering the U.S. presidential campaign.
The two allegedly began sleeping together in Las Vegas at the Wynn, which just so happened to be the same place that Henry held his wedding. However, Henry reportedly dropped all contact with the mistress after the affair had been brought to light.
Lima said, “Whenever he was in town, we would pretty much just have sex. He has a really high sex drive.” She also went on saying that Henry almost never mentioned his wife and even paid her rent at one point. He was staying at the Wynn and asked her to come up to his room, then one thing led to another and they ended up having sex.
Prior to his run with Fox News he had served as a White House correspondent for CNN from 2014 to 2011.
