Task force seizes large amount of ‘date rape’ drug

and crystal methamphetamine was seized Friday night and three Georgia residents face felony charges in Warren County, Ohio, according to the Warren County Drug Task Force.

Working from information gained from a previous drug investigation, drug task force agents made and undercover buy at about 11 p.m. Friday in the Kings Mills area that resulted in the seizure of two gallons of GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyric acid) and a half pound of crystal methamphetamine, said Sgt. Brandon Lacy.

Arrested were Samuel Ray, 45, and Cindy Soeder, 42, both of Douglasville, Ga., and David Price, 42, of Powder Springs, Ga. All are charged with trafficking in drugs, a first-degree felony. They are housed in the Warren County Jail.

The trio are accused of traveling from Georgia to sell the GHB, which was in gallon milk jugs, and the crystal meth to an undercover detective for $10,000. The drugs have an estimated street value of $150,000.

Lacy said GHB is a drug that creates a knock out effect like a coma and is out of the blood system quickly, usually in eight hours. It is easily dropped in to liquid and is tasteless and odorless.

In addition to its use as a date rape drug, GHB is also used by drug abusers because it leaves the body quickly, Lacy said.

The bust is considered one of the largest GHB seizures in the region, police said.

Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell praised the task force for the arrest noting it has been an ongoing investigation.

“We have seen other cases involving GHB, but certainly not this amount,” Fornshell said. “It is the largest I can remember in my time as prosecutor. The good news is we don’t see a lot of it.”

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think
I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the
    hang of it!
