PHOENIX (KRQE) – An attorney and Native American activist is being held in Phoenix accused in rape crimes allegedly committed in Santa Fe.
The district attorney’s office in Santa Fe is working to extradite him back to New Mexico.
According to authorities, Redwolf Pope is accused of secretly recording himself sexually assaulting unconscious women who appeared to have been given a date rape drug.
Court documents say Pope’s roommates found the recordings and alerted police in June prompting the investigation.
A warrant for his arrest was issued earlier this week.
Authorities say Pope did the same thing in Seattle.
