Here is a list of 13 things to do this week in Las Vegas for the week of Feb. 7-13:

1. This month’s First Friday celebration in downtown Las Vegas is happening Feb. 7. The monthly festival features local arts and products, the First Friday photo booth, live music on 2 stages, street performers and more. This month’s theme is “Dream Clean” and encourages the Las Vegas community to take responsibility and clean up the enviornment we work, play and live in.

2. The ahhhmazing Dermot Kennedy is performing Feb. 7 in The Pearl at the Palms hotel-casino. Kennedy’s debut album “Without Fear” was released in October and his glbal streaming numbers continue to rise with more than 600 million across all platforms and more than 9 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

3. The Doobie Brothers are performing Feb. 7-8, 12, 14-15, 19 and 21-22 in the Venetian Theatre at The Venetian hotel-casino. The Doobie Brothers are known for their mind-blowing, roots-based, harmon-laden, guitar-driven rock and roll. They have been performing for more than 40 years.

4. Clark County Fire State 21 is hosting an open house from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 8 at 5015 W. Oquendo Road. There will be free food and drinks, firefighting demonstrations. and plenty of activities for the whole family.

5. Ethel M Chocolates is hosting Flavor Pairings at 1 p.m. Feb. 8. Sample flavored coffees from magnum Coffee Roastery and flavored chocolates by Ethel M. Includes a sneak peek of the chocolate-making factory and majestic cactus garden. Tickets required.

6. The Las Vegas Municipal Pool is hosting a Dive-In Movie Night at 8 p.m. Feb. 8 in honor of Black History Month. Lounge on a raft or relax in a deck chair at the indoor pool and watch the movie “Pride,” which tells the story of a group of teens and their struffles in and out of the swimming pool at the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department.

7. Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theadore will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans on Feb. 9 at Boca Park. Limit of one signature and one photo (on your device). Each additional signature requires a purchase of $50. VIP entry begins at 3 p.m. and free entry begins at 4.

8. If you need a date for Valentine’s Day, Sake Rok Las Vegas is hosting Sushi, Sake & Speed Dating on Feb. 9. Guests who show their Bumble profile at the door will receive complimentary entry, Bumble merchandise and a drink ticket, while app-less players can join in the fun for $35. Lovebugs who connect on Bumble will be entered for a chance to win a complimentary dinner at Sake Rok with their new sweetheart on Valentine’s Day. Attendees can commemorate their budding romances with an elaborate floral photo booth.

9. Hamburger Mary’s on East Flamingo Road is hosting an Academy Awards watch party on Feb. 9. The red carpet begins at 3 p.m. There will be pop-up drag performances and awards commentary throughout the event. Free admission. Drink specials. Must be 21 or over.

10. The 11th annual Variety Salutes Hollywood party is happening Feb. 9 at Brenden Theatres inside of Palms hotel-casino. Guests can walk the red carpet with local celebrities and watch the Oscar telecast at 5 p.m. Tickets are $35 and include $25 in theater concessions. Event hosts include Morning Blend host JJ Snyder, Chet Buchanan from 98.5 KLUC and Master Magician Lance Burton. Proceeds benefit Variety Children’s Charity of Southern Nevada.

11. The Please Send Noodles Cookbook Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at Writer’s Block. Every month, Please Send Noodles will introduce a cookbook and discuss the food, cooking techniques and where to buy ingredients. Cooks are then encouraged to use the cookbook for a month and return for a potluck and introduction of next cookbook. Beginners to professionals welcome.

12. The legendary impressionist Gordie Brown is back for a limited run at the Golden Nugget. His show is titled “Lasting Impressions” and shows begin Feb. 11. “Lasting Impressions” will play at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for a limited-time run. Tickets start at $25.

13. Jazz on the Lake is happening Feb. 11 at Lakeside Event Center on Regatta Drive in Desert Shores. The event will feature wine and whiskey tasting and performance by jazz guitarist and vocalist Calvin Brooks.
