This one-day summit celebrates female entrepreneurship, and entry is free for users of the Bumble app.
Social networking and dating app Bumble has built its brand on championing women and female leadership. Its business branch, Bumble Bizz, wants to celebrate that further at its first summit, which will bring leading entrepreneurs together in Sydney to discuss female-led businesses and opportunities for growth.
Celebrity hairstylist and Ouai founder Jen Atkins will headline, joined by other entrepreneurs such as Elle Ferguson (Elle Effect), Lindsay Jang (Missbish and Yardbird, Hong Kong), Martine Ho (Sunnies, Philippines) and Kiwi fashion designer Maggie Marilyn.
To further support female entrepreneurs in the Asia-Pacific region, Bumble Bizz will be awarding grants of $5000 USD to help women in Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, the Philippines and Singapore establish their business. (To enter the contest, submit your pitch on the app before 12pm on Friday, September 27.)
The event is free for users of the Bumble app, but registration (via the app) is required.
