#bumble | #tinder | #pof Premiere, How to Watch, Host

Not sure how to find love in the time of coronavirus? Well, TLC has the answer to your love-thirst prayers. Say hello to the newest reality dating show: Find Love Live, offering a chance to possibly find love while practicing social distancing. The format of the new series offers singles the opportunity to, you guessed it, “find love” on live TV, from the safety and comfort of their couch during the coronavirus pandemic.

“The runaway success of relationship programming like the 90 Day Fiancé franchise proves that the eternal story of love, of finding “the one,” continues to captivate viewers. Even in the days of social distancing, people want to make a meaningful connection and, hopefully, end up sharing their lives with that special someone,” president of TLC Howard Lee said in a statement. “And with the country staying home, what better way to celebrate love and togetherness, than helping singles find their match virtually and for the rest of us to root for them in the process.”

Curious? We thought you would be, so here is everything you need to know about the live dating show:

When does Find Love Live premiere?

The series, which is airing as a remote production in light of the COVID-19 health crisis, premieres Sunday, May 10 at 11 p.m. EST on TLC.

Who is the Find Love Live host?

It wouldn’t be a dating show without its very own Chris Harrison. News anchor Sukanya Krishnan will serve as the host, in addition to playing “referee” and “cupid” as she helps featured singles potentially find their Mr. or Ms. Right.

What is Find Love Live and how does it work?

So, how exactly will the show work? One pre-selected “singleton”—as they have been dubbed—will be featured each episode. He or she will have the chance to “interview” and flirt with three potential suitors via video live. Aside from watching, viewers can also play matchmaker voting in realtime for who they think the singleton should pick. TLC noted that America is “invited to call in and log on immediately to try to win the hearts of the featured single onscreen, or weigh in and cheer on via social media.”

After the single makes his or her choice, the couple will enjoy their “first virtual meet up,” which will be shared in the subsequent episode. The network teased that viewers can “expect the unexpected with this unprecedented—and unpredictable” series.
