Netflix series Indian Matchmaking follows hot on the heels of reality dating series Love Is Blind and Too Hot To Handle. The show spotlights the world of South Asian arranged marriages with professional matrimonial expert Sima Taparia. Indian Matchmaking followed Taparia’s efforts to find prospective spouses for their clients’ children.
Did Rupam from Indian Matchmaking get married?
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Indian Matchmaking
While most of the show focused on singletons of varying ages from the South Asian community looking to get married, there was some focus on others hoping to walk down the aisle once more.
One of these was American-Indian woman Rupam, who was divorced and already had a daughter.
Matchmaker Taparia said it would be tough for Rupam to find a man willing to marry her due to her circumstances.
She was warned her daughter could be a big turn-off for some of the men in her extensive database.

“We’ve gone out a couple of time, but in some ways, it’s better because I feel like you get to know someone really well because you spend so much time talking to them.”
Rupam said she’d deleted her other online profiles and focus on this one guy.
She reflected: “As a Sikh woman, meeting someone, you know, who sort of understands your life experience and not spending all this time explaining who I am, if a great feeling.
“I don’t want to get our hopes up but you know, this is the first time I’ve met someone where I feel like all the puzzle pieces really fit together.”
Rupam praised Taparia and found her advice useful, which she would apply to her relationship from Bumble.
Sadly, fans didn’t get to find out if Rupam and her new date ended up tying the knot but it looked promising.
Unfortunately, there’s no information on what happened between the two of them.
From the looks of it, none of the couples who went on dates on Indian Matchmaking ended up getting hitched.
The series was Taparia continuing in her quest to get singletons from the South Asian community wed.
