Celebs Go Dating – Amy Hart makes sly dig at ex Curtis Pritchard | #facebookdating | #tinder | #pof

Celebs Go Dating continued its eighth – we know, crazy – series tonight (February 25), and most of the famous cast were sent out on dates with two people at the same time.

It was a bit of a weird scenario for everyone involved, to be honest, except for one person.

Love Island star Amy Hart very much enjoyed getting her two dates to compete with each other for her affections.

Although, she admitted that she did find it a bit odd at first, and did so while making a NOT SO SUBTLE AT ALL reference to her ex, Curtis Pritchard.

“Dating two guys at once is so awkward, it’s like trying to tango with two partners at once,” she said, before turning directly to the camera and adding: “You just wouldn’t do it, would you?”

Voiceover man Rob Beckett joked about the moment, saying that he had an idea of who she was talking about, but legally the show couldn’t name him so he just called him ‘Purtis Critchard’.

The editors took the opportunity to have a cheeky dig at Love Island itself, as client co-ordinator Tom Read Wilson sent Amy a text mid-date and asked her to choose one guy and dump another.

Starting with a ‘she’s got a text!’, the editors had some fun by adding some letterboxing to the picture, using Love Island‘s super soft ‘Vaseline smear’ filter and playing an overwrought, slow cover of Coldplay’s ‘The Scientist’.

Celebs Go Dating continues tomorrow night (February 26) at 9pm on E4. Love Island will return this summer on ITV2, and you can catch up on the show via ITV Hub.
