Coffee meets bagel logoABC NEWS – July 27 – The Kang sisters from Coffee Meets Bagel stunned everyone when they said no to $30M from Mark Cuban. They believe their dating app is worth a whole lot more. Coffee Meets Bagel raised $7.8M in external funding and has more than doubled its user base since January. The app is free and delivers one match (bagel) by noon each day. Users have 24 hours to “Like” or “Pass” on their Bagel, and if two people “Like” each other, then the app will open a private chat to set up a date. A majority of the app’s users are females.
