Tinder has rolled out a new feature called ‘Passport’ which is free for users till April 30. This new feature enables users to change their location to any other city without actually moving there.
The new Tinder Passport feature is exclusively available to the Tinder Plus and Gold subscription users. The company will send an update to the Android and iOS users around March 26 which will include this new Passport feature.
With this new feature, users will be able to explore the new cities virtually by selecting the location of their choice. Users can look for a city either typing or by pinning it on the map. Once the location is changed users can keep on using the app naturally. The objective of this feature is to create conversation among users who are living in self quartile.
In order to use the new Passport feature users first have to tap on their profile icon. Now they have to click on the settings menu and then tap on location. After this users can add any location of their choice.
There is no limitation and users can change their location as many times as they want.
Last month, Twitter announced that it is bringing its Swipe Night interactive video series in India. It is an in-app, interactive apocalyptic adventure, according to the company. “After massive success in the US, Tinder is set to release Swipe Night in India this March. Tinder will release its in-app, interactive apocalyptic adventure, where at key turning points, members decide what happens to them next,” the company said in a statement.
