A new dating website offers to match Americans with Canadian singles to save them from a Donald Trump presidency.
MapleMatch.com promises love and a U.S. escape plan if Trump becomes America’s head-honcho.
The site’s CEO, Joe Goldman says that over 4,000 people have signed up for the site – in which 70% of them are Canadian.
Goldman hatched the idea while watching Trump’s “Super Tuesday” victories in March.
During the primaries, American Google searches for “move to Canada” hit record numbers.
As well as the option of Canada, the Nova Scotian island of Cape Breton has labelled themselves a ‘Trump-free paradise’ whilst Russia has also said that they will welcome Americans who want to take political asylum.
Spotify have also made a ‘Moving Up To Canada’ playlist, chock full of all your fave Canadian artists and other tunes that fit with the playlist’s theme.
