EastEnders duo Maisie Smith and Zack Morris have responded to claims that they’re dating in real life.
They play Tiffany Butcher and Keegan Baker in the BBC One soap, who secretly got married last November after both of their families voiced issues with their relationship.
People have since asked whether this romance transcends the TV screen, or are they just really good pals?

Following rumours that they displayed some close affection at the soap’s 35th anniversary party last weekend, Maisie told The Daily Mail: “I film most of my scenes with Zack, naturally we’ve built a great friendship. [We’re] nothing but mates.”
Zack echoed his co-star’s words, adding: “The majority of our filming days are spent together, so we have grown closer as friends. But nothing more than that.”
This follows EastEnders‘ dramatic boat disaster storyline which headlined its 35th anniversary week.
