The man who claims he was extorted, assaulted and detained by former reality television contestant Suzi Taylor will have to answer questions about whether he had agreed to pay her for sex or not.
A court heard the “bone of contention” in the case was if the pair had entered into a commercial agreement or if it was a Tinder date.
The Crown’s case is that it was a Tinder date.
Her co-accused is Ali Ebrahimi.
Lawyers for both defendants won an application today for the alleged victim to be cross-examined at an upcoming committal hearing about the nature of their meeting.
The committal hearing has been set down for July 29.
Ms Taylor is facing charges of contravening police, driving over the limit, driving without a licence, obstructing police, assaults occasioning bodily harm, breach of bail, deprivation of liberty, extortion and possessing dangerous drugs.
Mr Ebrahimi is charged with assaults occasioning bodily harm, breach of bail, deprivation of liberty, extortion and possessing dangerous drugs.
