From live concerts to socially distanced theatre, there are lots of interesting virtual events happening in Saskatoon this weekend.
1. Anti-racism rock show
Rock Against Racism Saskatoon is hosting an online concert Saturday at 8 p.m. on their Facebook page to show support and love for the diversity across Saskatchewan — and with eight performers and comedians hosting the show, there is bound to be something for everyone.
2. Speed dating
Dating during a pandemic is tough, which makes it the perfect time to try speed dating from the comfort of your couch. Do SASK has organized a virtual mixer on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and all you need to do is register through the Facebook Event page and pay the $20 registration fee.
3. One act show
The Persephone Young Company is putting on a one-time-only online performance of the comedic 6 Ways To Survive Life In Quarantine by Don Zolidis on Friday from 7:30-10 p.m. The show is a collection of one person scenes, played out by each actor in their own home, offering advice on how to survive while stuck in quarantine.
