Anti-Scam Dating Tips : match group | #datingscams | #lovescams

Match Group, the parent company of dating apps such as Tinder, Hinge, Match, Plenty of Fish, Meetic, and OurTime, has announced it will implement a new campaign that gives users in-app messages and notifications with tips on how to prevent online scams successfully. These notifications include suggestions for screening potential matches through a verified profile picture, engaging in video chats to confirm identities, and more potential red flags that may indicate a scam.

This feature will be implemented in over 15 countries, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., India, Australia, Japan, Germany, France, and more. Romance scams are a growing problem among online daters, and the number is only going up. In order to avoid this, hesitant users who are engaging in possibly fraudulent interactions online will benefit from Match Group’s anti-scam guidelines.
