Birmingham has been revealed as the city where men are the most disappointing in bed. A poll by Illicitencounters.com found just 4 per cent of their 2,000 sample size found Brummies to be appealing under the sheets.
For women, Cardiff was deemed the place where form in the sack was dwindling, with 4 per cent of males saying their nookie was good. Illicitencounters.com is a dating site for married couples and it discovered that males and females from London fared pretty well, with 20 per cent of women and 19 per cent of men saying their partner from the capital sent their pulses racing in the bedroom.
Jessica Leoni, sex and relationship expert with IllicitEncounters.com, said: “Men from Birmingham and ladies from Cardiff sadly seem to lack imagination in the bedroom. But that cannot be said of London – another good reason for visiting the capital.”
Men from Newcastle and Bristol came joint second in the list of losers, while the women of Liverpool were voted the second least-inspiring.
The survey comes off the back of another by IllicitEncounters.com, which discovered some of the most common things people say to each other after sex.
The most popular post-coital comment from men is “wow!”. Second place on the male list was the question “when can we do that again?”, and third was the brutal “I’ve got to go”.
For women, the most common thing they said after sex was “you’re amazing”, while second was “don’t go to sleep” and third “give me a cuddle”.
