A 28-year-old graduate student from Washington State has been apprehended in Pennsylvania in an alleged connection with the murders of four University of Idaho student six weeks ago. A press conference held Friday afternoon (Dec 30) by Moscow, Idaho, law enforcement officials has shed new light on the murder case that has devasted the university city of 26,000 people.
A criminal complaint that includes four counts of murder and one count of felony burglary has been reportedly filed in Latah County against suspect Bryan Kohberger, according to CNN News. The murders of the four University of Idaho students took place in the early morning hours of November 13. Evidence linking the suspect to the students has also been reportedly discovered by investigators.
Philadelphia police had been tailing Kohberger in recent days and were following up on information provided by Idaho detectives. Kohberger, the suspect, is innocent until proven guilty and has an upcoming extradition court date on January 3, according to CNN News.
