The SouthAfrican reports that scores of people are fuming after booking and paying for foreign holidays through Hello Darlings whose CEO Tasneem Moosa has disappeared into thin air.
Moosa is also said to have deactivated all her social media accounts and disappeared with millions of rands that were paid by clients. The clients had booked holidays to various cities including Dubai.
One of the individuals who was scammed, Suhaifa Naidoo said this has come as an absolute shock because they had a trip booked for next week.
Suhaifa said Hello Darlings packages were incredibly affordable. Many people who booked and went on her trips including her own mother all enjoyed it and had no issues at all.
“Tasneem Moosa won’t be found anytime soon. Unfortunately nothing was booked. Some have reached out to airlines and hotels, there were no bookings made. The flights that were booked were refunded back to her on Monday, 7 March 2022.”
None of the individuals who said they were scammed by Hello Darlings indicated that they have opened a case against Moosa. They also did not provide the exact money they lost.
“Let Hello Darlings be the biggest lesson to influencers who will do anything for a a free ride. Especially those who continued to endorse TazzMoosa after learning that she owed so many people money.” @vahed_ayesha wrote.
