Open WhatsApp on your smartphone
Now go to the Settings menu
Note: To access the Settings menu on Android, tap the three-dot menu icon located at the top right. On iOS, you’ll find the Settings icon at the bottom left corner.
After this tap on the ‘Privacy’ option
Now tap on the ‘calls’ options and then select ‘Silence unknown callers’.
The function effectively mutes incoming calls from unknown numbers. Therefore, it is recommended to block and report the caller in case you receive any calls from unfamiliar or spam numbers.
