Sthembile’s story got some attention on Twitter and peeps were eager to share their two cents. Many people were less than sympathetic after reading all the details.

Sadly their romance ended up with her quitting her job because of him, a decision which rendered her homeless and without her pension of KSh 2.9 million.

The post detailed that the Sthembile now only has four chicken eggs to her name.

Man arrested for scamming women

Patrick Giblin, an American man, was jailed for five years after swindling 155 women in the name of love.

The 58-year-old man is said to have conned the woman for over $500,000 (KSh 61,000,000). Patrick’s targets were mostly widows, physically challenged women, and single mothers.

The scammer is said to have wooed women with stories about his respectable family, claiming his father was a judge and owned expensive property.
