Just because it’s been a few weeks since Emily in Paris season 3 dropped on Netflix doesn’t mean the show’s lead Lily Collins is done with fashion. She’s been providing couture inspiration for a while now, and it doesn’t look like she has plans to stop anytime soon.
In April 2019, the Netflix actress was busy walking the red carpet for the European premiere of her movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. She had everyone at the event stunned as she arrived in a see-through long-sleeved gown that featured embroidery throughout. The bodice’s unique design had two hands coming together around a heart while the shoulders showed off two different shades of blue. The rest of the look was simpler, thanks to a sheer overlay with black hearts sewn on.
But the dress wasn’t the only dramatic element. For accessories, Lily paired the look with platform heels and bold diamond jewelry. To round everything out, the Mortal Instruments: City of Bones alum wore her hair back in a messy bun and donned natural makeup.
When Lily posted a highlight from the night over on Instagram, fans couldn’t get enough of the memorable outfit. They immediately began reacting about it in the Stuck in Love star’s comments section.
“Stunning dress! You look incredible! 😍,” one person wrote. “Want/need that dress,” a different user replied. “Omg that’s the best dress ever!🔥❤️,” another follower added.
Time and time again, Lily has proven that she’s been a fashion force way before she began portraying Emily Cooper. What’s more, she continues to be a fan of using sheer material for her red carpet appearances. Just a few years later, she wore a see-through lace dress while attending a different Hollywood event.
Who knows, maybe Lily may need to start incorporating these kinds of outfits into Emily in Paris season 4 …
