Man shot dead at Seadoone Mall | #datingscams | #lovescams


A MAN was shot and killed at Seadoone Mall in Doonside today, November 9, at about 17:00.

According to Amanzimtoti police station’s communications officer, Captain Charlene van der Spuy, “The victim was 57 years old. It is alleged that he ran into the parking area when he was shot. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on the scene.”

CCPO Crime released a statement on their Facebook page, saying, “Active crime scene at Seadoone Mall; please avoid the area. A shooting has occurred; all necessary responders are at the scene.”

According to a bystander, the man was lying on the ground in the middle of the parking area near Woolworths. “I was there when the man was shot. It looked like a hit. The suspects got out, shot him, and then got back into their car and drove off.”

Van der Spuy said the motive for the shooting has not been confirmed at this stage as the investigation is ongoing.

A case of murder is being investigated.
