The 11th Annual Ashdown Community Auction will be coming your way on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Ashdown High School.
The highly anticipated event is scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Ashdown High School located at 171 Locust Street. Since the first auction was held in 20l2, over $554,000 has been raised to help beautify and improve the Ashdown downtown area and the City Park. The money raised this year will go toward continued improvements in the downtown area and at the City Park.
The auction will get underway at 7 p.m. and the doors open to the public at 4 p.m. In addition to the live auction, there will be a silent auction, penny auction, and special prize raffles, with food, and baked goods for sale.
If you have specific ideas on beautification and/or improvement projects, please let a committee member know. There are two ways you can help.
First, you can donate items like services such as mowing lawns, babysitting, baked goods, etc.; or products like handmade quilts, aprons, artwork, etc, to the event. Second, you can mark your calendar and make plans to attend this one-of-a-kind event. In the past items such as electronics, new gas grills, guns, guided hunting and fishing trips, and furniture, were donated just to name a few.
If you have any questions or need help deciding on your unique donation item, please contact one of the committee members on their Facebook page.
See you at the 11th Annual Ashdown Community Auction on Feb. 11,
