Stafford County Sheriff’s Office says the scam victim was conned out of hundreds of dollars after she paid for the tickets in a Facebook resellers group.

Taylor Swift fans who are desperate to get concert tickets for The Eras Tour are being warned not to fall foul of a targeted scam.

It comes after one fan was conned out of $300 after she responded to what she thought was a genuine ticket seller on Facebook.

Police are now warning Taylor Swift fans, known as Swifties, to take extra care when trying to get a ticket for the artist’s ongoing concert tour.

Stafford County Sheriff’s Office says the scam victim was conned out of hundreds of dollars after she paid for the tickets in a Facebook resellers group.

Police have said the Swiftie paid $300 through a cash app but the seller failed to provide the tickets.

The scam victim has said she was unable to reverse the transaction.

It’s not the first time Swifties have been targeted.
