Texarkana Police Looking For Man With Theft Warrants, See Him? #nigeria | #nigeriascams | #lovescams

Texarkana Police are looking for a man who is accused of Theft and Exploitation of the Elderly.

Felony warrants have been issued for Torin Smith. Police have received reports of a man scamming people out of their money at local stores in the Texarkana area.
According to the Texarkana Texas Police Facebook page. He comes up to people in stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s, and starts a conversation.

At some point, he tells them that he is either an employee of a store or is a truck driver and has access to a zero-turn lawn mower that they can’t sell for some reason, such as it was a special order and the person died before they could pick it up. He says that he’s been authorized to sell them the mower at a greatly discounted price to keep the company from getting stuck with the mower.

And the victims believe him and also believe they have gotten a great deal on merchandise.
Three people have reported this to the police now. If you have come into contact with him please contact Detective Smith with your story and call 903-798-3170.

If you know where he is, please call 903-798-3116 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP.

Police ask for you to be on guard if he approaches you.

We assure you that he’s not there to be friendly or to help you. His only goal is to get his hands on your money.
