The White Lotus season 2 ending explained: Did Lucia scam Albie? | #ukscams | #datingscams | #european

The White Lotus season 2 has come to an end, leaving us with many questions, which is one of the things the satire comedy is known for. One of the highlights this season, are Lucia and Mia, particularly Lucia. Was Lucia ever in any danger? Did Lucia scam Albie in The White Lotus season 2 finale?

Spoilers ahead if you have not watched the season 2 finale. Go stream all episodes of The White Lotus season 1 and season 2 on HBO Max!

When I first met Albie, I really liked him. I thought, wow, finally a good man. I hope the guys watching took note! But by the finale, I was so over him. There are kind and naive people, and then there are people like Albie who are just…dumb, for lack of a better word. Now, I’m team Lucia and Mia for sure, but Albie really should have known better.

Did Lucia scam Albie in The White Lotus season 2 finale?

Lucia appeared kind and a good person, and she pretty much is, but she puts her needs above all else, as you should, girl! So yes, Lucia did scam Albie out of 50,000 euros, which is about $50k US dollars. Lucia made Albie believe that she was being followed and needed to pay up or escape. And Albie truly believed he had a shot with her, but Lucia left as soon as the money hit her account. Well, the morning after, to her credit.

On the bright side, it’s not like Albie (or his father) need the money or will suffer because of it. It’s not a big chunk of change to them. But to Lucia and Mia, it’s life changing, so good for them.

And did Albie learn his lesson? Absolutely not. He traded phone numbers with Portia instead of ignoring her like she ignored him as soon as she met Jack. Either way, Albie may not stay a nice guy for long. In one of the final scenes, we see a woman walking by Albie, his father, and his grandfather. All three men turn their necks to stare at her walking away. Shame on you Albie.
