New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday knocked on the door of the Election Commission against remarks made by former Congress president on ‘sovereignty of Karnataka’.

The remark has triggered a massive political storm in the run-up to the Karnataka assembly election, scheduled to be held on May 10. Reports said that a delegation of the BJP went to the poll panel office in the national capital. “She (Sonia Gandhi) deliberately used the word sovereignty. Congress manifesto is the agenda of the ‘Tukde-Tukde’ gang and hence they are using such words. MiG 21 Aircraft Crashes In Rajasthan, 3 Civilians Dead; Pilot Escapes Unhurt

Three civilians, including two women, lost their lives while one other was injured after an Indian Airforce aircraft MiG 21 crashed near Hanumangarh in Rajasthan on Monday. The pilot of the aircraft managed to escape unhurt. The pilot is safe and the army’s helicopter has reached the accident site for rescue, ANI reported citing sources.
