(KVUE) Matthew McConaughey’s audition tape for “Dazed and Confused” has been posted to YouTube — and it’s perfect, of course.
In the video, the young McConaughey pretends to drive in a car with Wiley Wiggins, who plays Mitch Kramer in the 1993 Richard Linklater film, sitting in the backseat, asking him, “You got a joint?” When Wiggins says no, McConaughey responds, “It’d be a lot cooler if you did.”
Then, the video cuts an audition for a scene where McConaughey considers going back to school, but he wants to continue dating high school gets — “I keep gettin’ older, but they stay the same age.”
