Reum, born on February 5, 1981, is an American author, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist.
In 2007, he and his brother, Courtney Reum, cofounded the successful alcohol brand VEEV Spirits, which was soon listed in Inc. magazine as one of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The two later released a book, Shortcut Your Startup: Ten Ways to Speed Up Entrepreneurial Success, to help other entrepreneurs reach their goals.
Investing in companies like SpaceX, Lyft, Pinterest, and Warby Parker, the brothers founded M13 Ventures, an angel investment firm, in 2016.

His and Paris’s love story
Reum had been a friend of the Hilton family for some time before he and the “Stars Are Blind” singer started dating in November 2019. It was Hilton’s first relationship since calling off her engagement to Chris Zylka one year prior.
“I’m so happy,” she told Us Weekly in February 2020. “This is the best time of my life right now.”
Hilton and Reum got engaged in February 2021, after more than a year of dating.
“When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it,” Hilton wrote in an Instagram post featuring photos of the proposal. “I said yes, yes to forever. There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with.”
That November, the couple got married in a lavish three-day wedding in Santa Monica, California.

Hilton told Tamron Hall on her show in 2021 that she and Reum were trying to grow their family and began doing IVF soon after their romance got serious.
“I’m just so happy that Carter and I decided to do that literally, like, six months into our relationship. We knew we were forever right away,” she said.
Then, in January 2023, the pair’s wish came true; they welcomed their first child, a baby boy. Hilton shared the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, January 25.
“You are already loved beyond words 💙,” she captioned a sweet photo of her newborn holding her manicured thumb.
