You can now cook a full-on Sunday roast from the comfort of your sofa using an app.

The Cosori Dual Blaze air fryer is phone-controlled and once you’ve loaded the smart tech device up with the right grub it’s chill out time in front of the telly.

Simply log in via the free-to-download VeSync app on your smartphone, link the fryer to wi-fi in seconds and you can pick cooking time, temperature and style from a host of presets.

It means that no matter where you are, indoors or out, you can cook your grub with the touch of a couple of buttons.

It’s the latest growing technology trend for ever-popular air fryer devices after the small ovens became a big hit in covid lockdown.

Firms like Cosori are trying to capitalise on smart tech and make people’s lives even easier by connecting their clever new machines up to home internet to make them controllable from anywhere.

We tried it for ourselves and the Dual Blaze was incredibly simple to use.

It’s a hefty machine, probably best placed in the corner of a kitchen worktop, and features a 6.4 litre main aluminium cooking compartment, which is easily large enough for a roast dinner.

We could pack several chicken breasts in there alongside potatoes and, using the app, had lovely cooked food with a handful of clicks.

VeSync also offers a ton of inspiration to experiment with if you’re new to the experience of oil-free cooking thanks to its free recipes.

There’s breakfast pizzas, lemon chicken with spinach pesto and lamb skewers alongside crispy seasoned chips, homemade tortillas and even desserts like churros.

It really opens your eyes to what’s possible in, often, a fraction of the time it takes to cook in a normal oven.

Simply click a recipe you like the look of, get the ingredients listed, prepare your fryer basket and then press ’start cooking’ on the app.

It’ll cook exactly to the time and heat that the recipe recommends and produce your food with a nice little ping at the end for good measure.

The Dual Blaze’s 360 Thermo IQ Technology ensures food cooks evenly and often 10% quicker than older air fryers as there’s no preheating required, just press go from cold and it roars into action.

It also uses 85% less oil than regular frying so the food is much healthier than if cooked with traditional methods.

The firm reckons you’ll save around 50% on cooking time compared to your conventional kitchen oven, which not only means speedier food but also less spend as the cost of living crisis bites.

There are 12 preset functions, so simply press the ‘on’ button, then the ‘fries’ button and your chips come out perfectly cooked. Same deal with steak, chicken and defrosting.

Once you’ve finished eating, it is simple to clean as the basket is non-stick and dishwasher safe so it even saves time on the washing up.
