In May, we told how the brute was kicked off Tinder after relocating to Scotland and trying to woo women on the dating app.

And now we can reveal he managed to get a job with MoneyExpert which saw him going round doors trying to convince punters to change their energy supplier.

The firm say he used a fake identity and lied about his criminal record when applying for the post in June, and as soon as they found who he really was he was binned.

One woman said Davey arrived at her mum’s door in Clydebank, and had convinced her to make the switch.

She said: “He came to the door and said ‘I’m not trying to sell you anything’.

“My mum then went to the door and he began talking about swapping energy supplier. My mum was all for it and was passed through to money expert who do the actual switch.

“There wasn’t any inappropriate behaviour from him, however how can anyone think it’s OK for him to be in a job like that when he’s a convicted rapist?”

A spokesperson for MoneyExpert said: “Brian Davey was a contractor with us from 30th June. In order to get the job, he provided an alternate identity and lied that he had no criminal record.

“When we discovered his real identity we immediately ended his employment and reported him to the police.

“MoneyExpert conducts rigorous background checks on all staff and have a strict policy against hiring or contracting anyone with a criminal history.”

We told in 2018 how Davey faced death threats from vigilantes after setting up dating accounts and describing himself as an easy-going guy after an early release from prison.

Davey wept at Belfast Crown Court in 2013 when he was found guilty of a raping a student twice and blew kisses to his then-partner as he was led from the dock.

After he was released from prison in 2016, he sexually assaulted a teenage girl.

Her outraged dad revealed his horror at Davey looking for women to date on Tinder.

The predator was jailed for three years in 2013 after he invited himself to the first victim’s home where his advances were repeatedly rebuffed by the victim.

While he was in the toilet, the terrified victim had text her housemate saying: “I’m scared of this creep.”

She later woke up to find Davey performing a sex act on her before he pinned her down and raped her.

The fiend then raped her again as she was “crying and begging him to stop” and brazenly asked what she was going to do about the attack.

He was returned to jail in 2017 after breaking conditions of his licence and was later found guilty and sentenced over the sexual assault on the teenager.
