A man on parole for a rape conviction was again charged with rape, court records show.
Nathaniel Jones Jr., 46, of Reading is charged with raping a Lower Allen Township woman Jan. 22 who he met on a dating web site.
Jones was charged Feb. 6 with with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual, false imprisonment and indecent, sexual and simple assault, records state.
The victim told police she met Jones on the dating site blackpeoplemeet.com, and said he used the names “Sincere” and “Naquan Jones.”
After they met at her home, she said Jones became violent when she asked him to leave. She said he hit her across the face, grabbed her by the hair and threw her on the bed, where he raped her, records state.
Police said Jones was on parole for a previous rape conviction, and had been ordered not to use online dating web sites. He previously violated his parole by using a dating web site, authorities said. Jones pleaded guilty to rape in 2002 in Dauphin County, and was sentenced to 10-20 years in prison.
He is in Cumberland County prison in lieu of $100,000 bail, and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 1.
