The most sought-after man on Tinder has found love in lockdown after ditching the popular dating app to start a romance with his model friend.
Stefan Pierre-Tomlin, from London, was crowned the most popular man on Tinder after more than 14,600 people swiped right for him in just two years.
But despite hoards of potential suitors showing their interest in him, the male model, 30, struggled to find his true love on any subsequent dates from the app and started to give up hope of finding love – until he found a real-life match in his modelling pal Egle Damulyte, 26.
Stefan met the Lithuanian model, who is known as Damu, two years ago during a photoshoot, although the pair decided to keep their relationship purely professional.
But Stefan finally decided to reach out to her last year because he ‘really fancied her’ and asked her on a date after the first lockdown in June.
Despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the smitten pair have managed to form a budding romance and have already moved in together in Greenwich, southeast London.

During the first lockdown last March, Stefan thought he might be ‘lonely’ so hopped back on Tinder but yet again had no luck with finding his soulmate.
He admitted that he felt like he was a ‘love charity for lonely people in lockdown’ and finally gave up on the dating app because he didn’t feel like he was going to meet anyone.
Stefan, who is also a trained pilot, explained: ‘Back in March, I just thought I was going to be lonely throughout the lockdown.
‘I did hop on Tinder for a while. I was just chatting to people and getting to know everyone.

‘I put my pin in lots of different places in the world and hopped around. I felt like a love charity for lonely people in lockdown.
‘I had so much more time to focus on the app and chat to different women, whereas beforehand I was always out on jobs.
‘But didn’t really feel like I was going to meet someone and ended up leaving it in the end.’
Stefan admitted that he much prefers finding true love the old-fashioned way, rather than searching for your best match on modern dating apps.
He’s also had a lively dating history, having split up from X Factor star Natasha Boon last year, and just last week he confronted his ex Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, from Big Brother, in MTV’s Ex In The City.

Stefan gushed that the ‘chemistry’ between them both was ‘perfect’, admitting that he had already been ‘eyeing her up for a few years’ and feels extremely lucky
He said: ‘It’s very cool to have found love outside of Tinder again because it’s quite unexpected, given my title.
‘I met Damu on a photoshoot two years ago and I quite liked her, but I didn’t think anything would happen between us.
‘It was more of a professional relationship and we exchanged Instagrams so I kept seeing her pop up and I started to really fancy her.
‘I reached out to Damu after the first lockdown and asked her on a date when we were allowed to do things together and we just clicked.
‘After that we were pretty much together and have been since June.
‘By the second lockdown we had moved in together and throughout the third we’re still going strong.’

He continued: ‘We went on a date where we pedalled a boat on a canal and the chemistry was perfect.
‘I had been eyeing her up for a few years anyway, so it was great that we had such a good connection romantically.
But Stefan still recommends them for others, claiming that chatting to women amid the first lockdown did wonders for his mental wellbeing (pictured left an right: ice skating with Damu)
But Tinder is well and truly in Stefan’s past, as he is looking forward to a ‘bright future’ with his new love Damu, and predicts they will quickly become a ‘power couple’
‘She’s gorgeous inside and out and I’ve been really lucky. This time around I have such a good feeling about it.’
But despite his lack of luck on dating apps, Stefan still recommends them for others, claiming that chatting to women amid the first lockdown did wonders for his mental wellbeing.
He said: ‘I’ll always like Tinder and I have nothing against it, it was great for my mental health in lockdown to speak to people.
‘But if you’ve had your eye on someone for a while, now is a good time to try and talk to them online and get to know them a little better while we all have this free time.
‘It’s much easier to get a strong connection and it’s definitely worked out for me with Damu.
‘However I do think dating apps are fantastic for your mental health and virtual dates are still fun.
‘It’s a great way to prepare for us coming out of lockdown when everyone’s able to go back to normal again.’
But Tinder is well and truly in Stefan’s past, as he is looking forward to a ‘bright future’ with his new love Damu, and predicts they will quickly become a ‘power couple’.
He gushed: ‘I see a bright future with Damu and we’d love to move to a different country together or travel to different countries with our modelling careers, as soon as it’s safe to get around again.
‘We’re looking forward to a better 2021 and I’ve started new business ventures such as an online butchers called WhatsURBeef and I’ve signed global modelling contracts. I’m very excited.
‘And if things continue like this with Damu, we’re going to be a power couple for sure.’
