The online dating craze isn’t slowing down. Take for example Tinder, the app has nearly 50 million users and if you wonder how many of those people find matches on a daily basis it’s around 12-million.
However, those matches don’t mean a long -lasting relationship. A clinical social worker tells Fox 13, “When we get a response, we get a little excitement going in our brain and a little release of dopamine and that’s a feel-good chemical”.
According to Pew Research Center, dating online has nearly tripled for millennials over the past two years. It’s also doubled among Americans ages 55 to 64.
