Matthew Perry has sparked concern for his wellbeing after he was spotted looking very different to his usual self this week.
The troubled actor – who found fame with his role as Chandler Bing in sitcom Friends – split from his girlfriend of two years Molly Hurwitz in May, and has since worried fans about how he’s getting on.
Matthew, 50, was spotted out in Beverly Hills on Wednesday looking exhausted as he puffed on a cigarette with a face mask resting round his chin.
He then leaned on a wall and looked down at the floor before being joined by a friend.
But fans have been worried after the beloved actor – who is worth an estimated $80million – seemed to look under the weather in the pictures.
The pair stood talking before Matthew – who was clad in a loose-fitting trousers, and a denim shirt layered over his t-shirt – joined his female companion in a waiting car.
Putting safety first, Matthew was also seen sporting a blue face covering ready to pull up over his face.
The snaps came as a far cry from his groomed and polished snaps from when he was still dating Molly, as he’s seemingly gained weight following the breakup in lockdown.
And his grey hair stood on end and it seemed as though the actor – who appeared on the hit US sitcom from 1994 to 2004 – hasn’t seen the business end of a razor for a while.
It is thought he started dating Molly in December last year, after the pair were spotted together in a West Hollywood restuarant.
Their relationship was confirmed in January, with some friends tipping them to make it everlasting with a walk down the aisle.
It has been well documented in the past that Matthew had battled with addictions and it has been reported that Molly has been a good influence on him.
Despite sharing a gushing post about Matthew on Valentine’s Day this year, their love was not forever after all and by the end of April it was all over.
It was reported that Matthew turned to online dating following the split, after reports surfaced of the actor getting himself on Raya – a dating app for celebrities – but this was never confirmed by the actor himself.
