Quibi Fall Schedule Overview

Quibi just recently announced the TV shows and films coming to the streamer this Fall, via Quibi’s Press Release. Producers and hosts involved in Quibi’s new Fall lineup include the Russo Brothers (Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War), Stephen Curry (Ballers, Emanuel), Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven, Logan Lucky), and Will Smith (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Aladdin).

Beginning on September 7, Quibi’s fresh surge of new content will initialize with season 2 of Singled Out. Hosted by Keke Palmer (True Jackson VP, Hustlers) and Joel Kim Booster (Sunnyside, Kam Kardashian), the series acts as a dating show where a group of single individuals of all genders and orientations are coupled up within 10 episodes. The show is compared to online dating in the sense that participants will be linked up to the main dater through social media.

Following just a few weeks later, Quibi announced a release date for its true crime series Murder Unboxed to be September 21. Each episode of the series will feature a new real-life murder case with seemingly unrelated evidence while characters conduct interviews with actual investigators and witnesses of each case. Executive producers on the project include Jeff Keane (The Baseball Bunch, Fast N’ Loud), David Johnson (Sunset, Snatchers), and Steve Luebbert (Alternate Route) with Coolfire Studios. A trailer for the series has not yet been released.

Just one week later, Quibi is set to release a docuseries produced by Curry Benedict Men on September 28. The series follows life at the all-boys school St. Benedict’s Preparatory School in Newark, New Jersey. Specifically, the series will chronicle the St. Benedict’s nationally ranked basketball team as they learn what it means to be a part of a team through academics and sports. Their school teaches one core belief, “What hurts my brother, hurts me,” further expanding the teaching that when they fail, they fail as a team and when they succeed, they succeed as a team. Alongside Curry the show will also be produced by Mike Basone (Legacy, Olympic Outposts), Mark Ciardi (The Rookie, Million Dollar Arm), Darin Friedman (The Final Cut, The Infiltrator), Erick Peyton (Holey Moley, Stephen vs. The Game), Jeron Smith (Signing Day, Stephen vs. The Game), Nate Gaines (Dunk League Vol. 2, FaZe Up), and Charles Segars (National Treasure, Curpigeon).

Next, on October 5, Quibi will release the prequel to the critically acclaimed telenovela El Señor de los Cielos. The series is entitled Natural Born Narco and will follow the success of well-known drug lord Amado Carrillo Fuentes. The series will star Emiliano Zurita (Voices, Champions Gym), Luis Félipe Tovar (The Virgin of Lust, The Inmate), África Zavala (Corona de Lágrimas, Amores con Trampa), and Joaquín Cosio (Hell, Narcos: Mexico). The series hails from the minds of Marcos Santana (Across the Universe, The Producers) and Ana Paula Valdovinos (El Recluso, You Cannot Hide).

Along with Natural Born Narco‘s release on October 5, Quibi will also release Gloop World that same day. Created by Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty), the series will follow the laughable and relatable adventures of anthropomorphic roommates Bob Round and Funzy as they gather new experiences in Gloop World. Roiland states that, “Gloop World has been a dream of mine to make for almost seven years. A tactile clay animation show with a mysterious, weird, and expansive world and really fun characters, fingerprints and all…I want the Gloop characters to feel like you can reach into your phone and grab them yourself,” via Deadline. The animated series is set to release on October 5 on Quibi.

On October 12, Quibi will release yet another true crime series, entitled Last Looks. The series will investigate real life crimes that have related to the fashion industry and will feature interviews and recreations with people involved in each crime. The series will be narrated by Dakota Fanning (I Am Sam, The Alienist) and will be produced by Refinery29.

On October 26, Quibi will release the second season of 50 States of Fright. The series will be produced by Debbie Liebling (Pen15, South Park), Van Toffler (Orange County, Summer of 84), and Floris Bauer (Summer of 84, Eat, Brains, Love).

On November 2, Quibi will release Ten Weeks, a series hailing from Chris Rowe (Scientology, Live PD, Lockup). The docuseries will follow 5 Army recruits through Basic Combat Training where they will experience their transformations from citizens to soldiers. The show will feature several behind-the-scenes achievements that helped the publishing powerhouses succeed. The series will be directed by Dan Argott (Believer, Last Days Here) and Sheena M. Joyce (Believer, Batman & Bill).
