The Chicago Bulls partnered with Loud Capital to launch the Chicago Bulls Venture Competition. Chicago-based entrepreneurs have until Nov. 15 to apply for a chance to win $50,000 in investment funding from Loud Capital. Chicago-based Telnyx announced its global expansion plans. Telnyx is a voice and messaging platform used by thousands of businesses across the world. To help serve its international clients, the company has opened offices in Dublin and Warsaw, and is planning to expand to London and Sao Paolo as well.

Rentgrata received $1 million in financing. Rentgrata created an app for renters to find apartments and talk to current residents about their experiences. Its mobile-first platform aims to help millennials, as well as Gen Z renters who are starting to look for their first apartments.

Cheetah Digital appointed new Senior Vice President of Product Marketing. The appointee is Patrick Tripp, who was previously the VP of Product Strategy at RedPoint Global and a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Adobe. He brings over 20 years of experience in technology marketing.

Vivid Seats makes Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Companies for Customer Service. Vivid Seats ranked number one on the list for ticketing companies. Other categories include everything from book printing services, to online dating sites and internet service providers.
