An eagle-eyed woman has exposed a catfish on Tinder after discovering his feeble photo cropping attempt.

Tanith Gregory called out the fake profile of self-described ‘fun and loyal’ 43-year-old ‘Andrew’ after finding his account on the popular dating app last week.

In a TikTok video, the photographer and stylist proved she wasn’t blind on her quest for love as she spotted a suspicious tagline on his profile.

An eagle-eyed woman has exposed a catfish on Tinder after discovering he left his Google search of ‘Tim Johnson model’ above his display image

‘If you’re going to go to the effort of catfishing people on Tinder at least go to the effort of cropping the Google search out,’ she said.

In the footage she points to the top of the screen where 43-year-old ‘Andrew’ failed to crop out his Google search of ‘Tim Johnson Model’ from his display image.

Her discovery made it clear the profile was a poor attempt at catfishing, where someone uses fake photos or even a complete false identity to lure romantic targets to them.

In this case, the model Tim Johnson was used as the photo on the ‘Andrew’ profile to make the user look more attractive on the dating app.

The hilarious footage left many dating app users unsurprised by the failed catfish attempt.

‘Pretty sure I’ve seen this same pic listed as a James,’ one user commented.

‘This cracked me up, thank you for the laugh,’ another wrote.

‘That’s hilarious, I hope he’s been inundated with messages pointing out his mistake, unless he’s done it as a talking point,’ another suggested.
