Queensland Tinder thief wanted by police after allegedly assaulting and robbing women | #tinder | #pof

A man is wanted over a series of crimes including the alleged assault and robbery of women he met on Tinder in Queensland.

John Dennis Gurney, 31, has also been linked to fraud, driving and stealing offences between Brisbane and Rockhampton since July.

An arrest warrant is out for him after he allegedly failed to appear in court last year.

Police have released his image and Facebook profiles in a bid to find him.

“Police have received a number of reports of the man allegedly targeting women through social media, where he stays with them a number of days before stealing property and leaving,” police said.

“He has been allegedly detected using the women’s credit cards at various locations following his departure.”

Gurney was last seen in Agnes Water, near Gladstone, on Friday morning, but it’s understood he has left the town on the bus.

CCTV footage showing him allegedly using a stolen debit card in Gladstone has also been released.

Gurney is described as muscular with a rose tattoo on his neck, as well as shoulder, arm and hand tattoos.
