A woman was allegedly gangraped on September 22 at a flour mill owned by her husband in Patwai police station area in Rampur. While the woman lodged an FIR on Tuesday, another woman has lodged a similar complaint against the victim’s husband on October 4 at the same police station, alleging that she was raped by him at the same flour mill on the same date — September 22. The 27-year-old victim, in the second case, was found to be a close relative of one of the accused named in the gangrape case lodged on Tuesday. Station Officer, Patwai PS, Mahesh Prasad said the woman who filed the complaint Tuesday said that on September 22 afternoon, she had gone to her husband’s flour mill with her mother-in-law where Pramod and Nagendra of the same village gangraped her. As per the complaint, the woman, who at present is untraceable, was gangraped by the flour mill owner and his unidentified associate inside the same mill on September 22.
