Sex ed teacher goes to prison for blowing student, sending naked pics

In Worcester, Massachusetts, a superior court sentenced a part-time sex education teacher to two and a half years in state prison after blowing a student and sending him naked pics.

According to the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, 28-year-old Rachelle Gendron (see photo) had been charged with enticing a 14-year-old student into coming over her place of residence and engaging in sexual acts. The incident was said to have occurred back in 2012 (Gendron pleaded guilty), and, in addition to performing fellatio on her student, the teacher also sexted several naked photos. The reason for the misconduct, on the teacher’s part, was because the student came to her and said that he felt lonely and felt he could confide in no one.

“I wanted to help him,” she said of the forlorn pupil. “I deeply regret everything that occurred.”

North Central Essential Charter School fired Gendron as soon as the accusations were made back in 2013. On Friday, Judge Janet Kenton-Walker included, in addition to prison time, that Gendron register for sex offender counseling as well as a mental health evaluation. (Gendron’s attorney admitted to the court that she had been on medication and was suffering from depression and anxiety.) She also has a GPS device strapped to her body until it’s time to go to prison.

As part of the plea agreement worked out between the defense and prosecution, the original charge of rape of a child aggravated by age was reduced to rape of a child. Four additional counts of rape of a child aggravated by age were dropped. Each of the dropped charges carries a 10-year sentence.

In other news, back in January, a 32-year-old Oklahoma teacher banged one of her students several times in the teachers’ lounge.
