Law360 (July 8, 2020, 8:35 PM EDT) — After a Pennsylvania judge cleared the way for it to do so, Marriott Hotels filed claims against some franchisees and unidentified males as third-party defendants in a woman’s suit against the hotel chain accusing it of knowingly aiding her traffickers or being willfully blind to her exploitation.

U.S. District Judge Mark Kearney ruled Monday in favor of a motion brought by Marriott International Inc. seeking clearance to file a third-party complaint against hotel franchisees and the alleged traffickers of the woman, who is only identified in the court filings by the initials A.B.
