One of these factors is the bitter reality about a larger number of women having faced sexual abuse.
Having great sex is a crucial part of modern day relationships as people keep trying to spice things up between the sheets. But what happens when one of the partners grows uninterested in sex because of being with one person for too long?
A new study that should be a cause of concern for men shows that women are more likely to get bored of sex with a man they have been with for over a year. Several social and environmental factors are responsible for making women four times more prone to losing interest in sex.
One of these factors is the bitter reality about a larger number of women having faced sexual abuse. While both men and women are known to lose libido when they grow old, men lose sex drive between the age of 35 and 44, meanwhile women may lose it when they are above 55.
The presence of children at home may also distract women or make them lose enthusiasm for sex. Sexual issues in the past were also observed as a major factor in case of both women and men.
Women who had lack of emotional proximity or weren’t able to talk about sex with their partner were also more likely to lose interest.
