The Chase’s Mark Labbett is on the quest for love again after signing up to Celebs Go Dating.
The telly star, who is best known as The Beast on the ITV gameshow, will join a host of other stars looking for love on the popular E4 reality show.
Mark has decided to take some help from dating coaches Anna Williamson and Paul Brunson following his marriage breakdown to wife Katie earlier this year.
Lifting the lid on his dating journey, an inside source said that Mark is excited about kickstarting his dating adventure.
He’s also keen to learn some new charming tricks.
The insider told The Sun : “Mark has been very open about the fact he’s not especially romantic.
“Flirting doesn’t come easily to him but he’s open to finding love again.
“He’s a big lovable giant with a heart of gold but his dating adventures will be something to behold.”
Mark, 55, and his ex-wife Katie, 28, who are also second cousins, tried to have an open marriage but things didn’t work out.
At the time of their split, Katie was also dating senior design engineer Scott Bate, 30, for 18 months.
The couple, who share a three-year-old son, confirmed the news during the summer, with Mark telling The Sun : “There was never any deceit on Katie’s part.
“But it’s got to the point now where I realise it is better for us to go our separate ways and remain friendly.
Katie has since come out to clarify that there was no deceit taking place in her marriage, and that her relationship with Simon was well known to Mark.
The nurse said: “I just want everyone to know what’s what and that we are all happy.”
Mark and Katie met on Facebook in 2010 and they got together two years later.
They got engaged the following year and tied the knot at Arundel Cathedral in West Sussex 12 months later.
