Viewers on The Wheel were left flabbergasted when ex-TOWIE icon Joey Essex got a question wrong on his own specialist subject: dating.
We’re used to seeing Joey struggle to grasp the simplest of topics, becoming the lovable personality we know today.
But when he was asked a question about dating on last night’s (Saturday, November 28) edition of Michael McIntyre’s new game show The Wheel, we were sure he was going to get it right.
Joey was asked which way you swipe on Tinder to mark that you’re interested in someone.
However, he still managed to muck it up, getting the question wrong and not answering that you swipe right.
Viewers took to Twitter in disbelief.
One said: “How on earth did Joey Essex get the tinder question wrong! It’s blown my mind how he didn’t know that!”
They added: “Surely he’s heard his mates saying like ‘I swiped right for her she’s fit!'”
Another viewer thought the issue wasn’t his lack of knowledge about Tinder, but about something a lot simpler.
They tweeted: “Surprised Joey Essex got the Tinder question wrong.
“Mind you it’s probably more to do with him confusing his right and left.”
Other viewers questioned how legit The Wheel even was.
One person tweeted: “The Wheel is such a fix as if Joey Essex wouldn’t know that you swipe right on Tinder if you like someone.”
