A man who made Tinder’s official top 30 list of ‘most swiped right’ users has shared the secrets to his success.

So there you go, if you want more matches you need to get yourself some snaps that tell a bit of a story and maybe take another look at your bio to ensure it’s calling out to potential dates.

And in case you were wondering, James went on to say that he wasn’t rich and that he doesn’t mention his job or financial status anywhere on his profile.

James shares more tips on his YouTube channel – in a recent video entitled How to use Tinder in 2021 – 7 Tips – By most ‘Right-Swiped’ Male’, James recommends using Tinder on desktop rather than through the app as that will boost your rankings.

He also suggests making sure your profile is actually complete, with links to your social media channels, and to switch on ‘recently active’ so that other Tinder users will see that you’ve been online and are more likely to swipe right knowing that you’ll be around to have a conversation.

As you can probably imagine, James is a big fan of online dating.

In an interview with the Leicester Mercury back in 2019, he said: “I actually think Tinder is amazing.

“One of the best things is that you know that both of you find each other attractive. Without that, that feeling of not knowing whether someone likes you too can be difficult, it’s a bit of a minefield.”

But when it comes to matches, James says he’s ‘pretty selective’ – well, he’s in a good position to be picky, isn’t he?

Replying to a question on Reddit about what makes him swipe right, James explained: “I’ll only match with someone if they meet the criteria of ‘would I be happy to be sat opposite this person in a bar?’ If the answer is yes, I’ll right swipe!”

Sounds like a solid system – now we just need for bars to reopen, eh?
