A Tinder user got the shock of her life when she opened a message from a potential date asking her to be an accomplice in a bank robbery.
Danielle had only downloaded the dating app a day earlier on October 14 when she received the bizarre message.
The 19-year-old student, from Houston, Texas, had matched with the potential date and began messaging him on the dating app.
But things took a surprising turn when he asked her to be complicit in a potential crime he was planning to commit.
He said: “I’m not trying to date you or anything. I’m robbing a bank and need an attractive female to distract an overweight guard that runs the night shift.”
The bloke continued: “Clothing will be provided. All you need to do is hold his attention for 15 minutes and 49 seconds. Are you in or out Danielle?”
Unsurprisingly, the student was shocked by his lack of flirting and posted the conversation to Twitter, with the caption: “Ok Tinder is not working.”
When she first shared it, the post quickly racked up more than 160,000 likes and 31,800 retweets.

One person joked on Twitter: “Wow a man on Tinder being upfront about what they want.”
Another added: “I would say yes.”
A third suggested: “He’s trying to figure out if she’s a team player from the start, I get it.”
While a fourth questioned: “So… are you in or out Danielle?”

The bar worker went on to show her successful tweet to her Tinder match where they continued to talk.
According to Danielle, he never mentioned his master plan again.
She said: “He did explain himself after the message.”
But it all turned out sweet for the couple after Danielle confirmed they were going on a date next Monday night.
