TikTok’s Timmy Byrnes is on the rise after hitting more than 1.5 million views on his recent video. Not only are his TikTok’s hilarious, they often carry a deeper, more educational purpose such as the importance to #wearamask.
During lockdown TikTok has gained popularity among people from all walks of life – even 24-year-old Timmy Byrnes who serves in the US Marines has a soft spot for it.
TikTok Timmy has been across seas in Japan for more than two and a half years serving his country and has now hopped online to carry on doing his duty and saving lives.
Why has Timmyb100 blown up?
In the TikTok that has now gone viral, Tim puts into perspective of how easy it is for people to wear a mask and keep safe from coronavirus.
He compares it to what army cadets wear, in order for them not to die.
Timmys rant involves pictures of him in his heavy duty uniform as he exclaims he finally “gets back to America just in time for it to shut down” and “you idiots are making us shut down longer, it’s a piece of cloth”.
Some may see this as a harsh message to hear, but with Americas coronavirus death rate surging, honesty is the best policy.
TikTok users took to the comments section to re-instate that ‘it’s easier to breathe through a mask than on a ventilator!’.
