Woman asks Tinder matches to fill dating application form
A woman looking for a date on Tinder revealed that she send her Tinder matches an application form before agreeing to go on a date with them. While singles usually engage in conversations with potential dates to ensure that they are a good match, this woman took things to a whole new level by asking men to fill a form with “important questions”.
Screenshots of a text conversation show her wasting no time and asking the potential date to fill the dating application.
“Would you be interested in filling out a date application?” she asks.
“A what,” the guy asks.
“It’s a Google form with important questions,” she answers and sends the link of the form.
Photos of the detailed questionnaire have gone viral on Reddit showing that the woman is interested in knowing whether her future boyfriend is a feminist or not and likes cats.
She also wants to be very clear about their intentions, asking them if they’re after ‘an exclusive relationship’, ‘a hookup’, an ‘open or poly relationship’ or ‘someone to go on fun dates with’.
She seems to be a fan of Harry Potter as she asks them which Hogwarts house they are. She also asks their favourite Taylor Swift song is.
Netizens were quick to respond to the “dating application”, with many branding her as a “narcissist”.
One user asked, “Why couldn’t you just carry out a regular conversation and just ask these questions?” Another wrote, “I’d fill it out and end with a 10/10 Awkward.”
A third user said, “You can already tell by the questions this is one of the most insufferable people on the planet. Thank them for the warning and move along.” Someone added, “It seems very narcissistic – we don’t learn anything about her.”
Yet another use, who was not against the idea of the application, said, “Maybe it’s the Virgo in me but I like the survey! I wouldn’t mind putting one together for myself. I’m older and divorcing so maybe I just have a different perspective. Seems like a great concept especially if you know what you are looking for beyond age range/gender/ sexual preference.”
