28-year-old Jamesha Grady was charged with criminal trespass, vandalism, two counts of theft, and domestic assault when she bit her girlfriend, smashed her windshield with a cinder block, stole $200 worth of items from Kroger after being banned, and took four boxes of diapers from Dollar General to sell on Facebook.

On August 5th, 2017, Metro Nashville police were dispatched on a domestic assault call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Sundee McClain, who stated that she and Jamesha had been dating for approximately a month. She said that they had gotten into a verbal altercation about Jamesha using the vehicle the night before.

Sundee stated the argument became physical when Jamesha bit her under her left armpit chest area. Jamesha reportedly left the residence, but soon returned and called her saying that she was going to flatten the tires of the vehicle. When she went outside to check on her car, she found Jamesha holding a cinder block and smashing it through both the back window and the windshield. She grabbed her phone and threw it in the sewer outside and then fled the scene. Officers did recover the phone from the sewer and two witnesses corroborated Sundee’s story.

On December 19th, 2017, two unknown females walked into Dollar General located at 1213 Dickerson Road in Goodlettsville and picked up four boxes of diapers and walked out of the store without paying for them. The sales associate on duty, Emilie Bullion, observed the two females get into a maroon Pontiac. The tags came back to a Sundee McClain, who stated that she allowed her friend to use her vehicle while she was at work.

Sundee identified the two females as Jamesha Grady and Orlexus Elliott. Officer James Wells of Goodlettsville Police Department searched the two women on Facebook and saw they had posted the stolen merchandise for sale. Officer Wells inquired about purchasing said items and Jamesha agreed to the sale. The officer stated the transaction never occurred. Emilie identified Jamesha out of a six photo lineup to be one of the women she observed because she looked her right in the eyes as she walked out of the store with the merchandise. However, she did not identify Orlexus out of the lineup.

On March 27th, 2019, Jamesha Grady walked into Kroger at 3410 Gallatin Pike and a few minutes later walked out with a bag full of items without paying. There was a video of the incident and she was identified by Loss Prevention. There was also a standard photo lineup shown to the manager and she positively identified Jamesha Grady as the person who committed the theft.
